These inspiring leaders have given a significant influence on the foundations of Kofkin Bond & Co and the way the business operates. Tony gives his recommendations on what he believes to be the base for a good leader and some book endorsements to some of his favourites. 

 

22. Insurance Claims & Asset Allocation

This week podcast goes through Industry Funds, Tony mentioning its the "biggest smoke and mirrors" he has seen in his 3 decades within the industry.

Talking insurance claims, the last 12 months has been quite tough on the staff of Kofkin Bond. Although the relief we can provide to these clients enlightens the task, the reduction of the complexity and to take on that unpleasantness off the clients to ensure the best outcome is achieved.

After the Australian market hitting it all the time of 6,928 last week, there has been a dramatic drop in the entire share market of 5% over the last couple of days. The trade war going on between the USA and China, being the root cause. Tony elaborates on why he isn't concerned about the sudden market drop and his insight into why he isn't a concern and if anything. sees the shift in the market as an opportunity.

Both now working together to give back and help others at a disadvantage whether it's through empowerment with employment at the Morrocan Soup Bar or helping combat the inequality for diversity and gender by providing a platform for migrants &  refugee women and relevant practitioners to coordinate engagement and strategic direction.
